Use and Dosage of DCA (Quick Guide)

First, DOSE

A daily dosage of 20 mg/kg DCA is suggested (milligrams per human body kilogram per day).

An individual’s daily DCA dose may be easily calculated by multiplying their body weight by 20 mg/kg.

If the individual is 75 kg in weight, for instance:

75 kilograms multiplied by 20 milligrams per kilogram yields 1500 milligrams, or 1.5 grams, of DCA every day (5 capsules of 333 mg or 3 capsules of 500 mg)

People who are overweight should not be included in the total weight counted.

SINGLE MICRODOSING Therapeutically effective doses of DCA are around 10 mg/kg less than the standard 20 mg/kg daily dosage. Because of this, it is not advised to take a lower dose of the medicine.

DCA dosage MAXIMUM Supplemental DCA doses of 30–40 mg/kg daily may be administered if no adverse reactions occur. If you have severe adverse effects, your daily dosage may need to be lowered to 10–20 mg/kg.

Method for Determining DCA Powder Concentration

DCA powder is best measured by dissolving it with water. Ideally, you would mix 0.01 g of DCA powder with 1 cc of water.

Fill a 250 ml bottle up with 25 grams of DCA (alternatively 50 grams into 500 ml, or 100 grams into 1000 ml). WARNING: if there is a desiccant package inside, take it out and throw it away. Second, fill the rest of the way with cold, distilled water. Next, screw on the lid and shake the container vigorously until the powder is dissolved. Consequently, 0.1g of Sodium Dichloroacetate may be dissolved in 1 ml of this solution. To convert between DCA powder and 1 milliliter of DCA solution, use this formula: DCA

The recommended dosage of DCA is 2 capsules, taken twice day, with meals. Divide it in half and take the morning dose, then take the nighttime dose.

If you weigh 80 kg and want to take 6 capsules each day, divide them up so that you take 3 at breakfast and 3 at supper.

Reduce your dosage by half throughout the first week of treatment:

If you have no adverse reactions to DCA, you may begin taking the full amount the next week.

Two common methods of applying DCA are:

A) Take DCA as directed for five days in a row, with no breaks in between, followed by two days off. Keep doing this every week. “(in the traditional sense)”

As an alternative (option B), you could take DCA for two weeks straight, without missing a single day, and then take a week off. This strategy may be more useful in the quest for an enhanced antitumor impact. New Method:

Fourthly, the time frame of treatment

Results are most promising in early, intermediate, and late stages of cancer.

STAGE 1 – 2:

On average, between two and three months, however this may vary greatly with each case.

Check in for regular scans and testing to keep an eye on your cancer.

For those in remission, it is advised to continue taking DCA on a regular basis to avoid a recurrence (for about 6 weeks every 18 months or so). It’s important to be checked out so that, if necessary, DCA sessions may be increased in frequency.

With complete or near-complete surgical removal of the tumor, at STAGES 1–3, the patient is said to be in a stable condition.

Six weeks before to tumor localization surgery and eight weeks following surgery (to prevent metastasis).

Keep a close eye on your cancer with regular scans and testing.

In cases of complete remission, it is suggested that DCA be taken on a regular basis to avoid a recurrence (for about 6 weeks every 18 months or so). It’s important to be checked out, and if necessary, your DCA sessions might be increased in frequency.

STAGE 3: Typically, between three and four months, however this varies with each case.

To keep an eye on your cancer, you should be scanned and tested often.

In cases of complete remission, it is suggested that DCA be taken on a regular basis to avoid a recurrence (for about 6 weeks every 3-6 months or so). It’s important to be checked out so that, if necessary, DCA sessions may be increased in frequency.

Fourth, do this routinely. If the findings are favorable, DCA might be administered at reduced dosages and with increased intervals between administrations.

Keep a close eye on your cancer with regular scans and testing.

A well-balanced diet and regular exercise are essential.

FIVE: ADVERSE EFFECTS

Concerning 45% of people, age is a factor in whether or not they experience any side effects (less expected in younger patients). They are temporary and should vanish after DCA medication is discontinued.

Neurological:

Pneumatic dysfunction in the extremities is quite prevalent (hand and feet numbness or stiffness, hand tremor, sometimes – pain in arms and legs).

Extremely unusual – mild hallucinations and delusions.

Acid reflux, nausea, vomiting, and indigestion are all symptoms of problems in the digestive tract. Pantoprazole is a drug that may be used for therapy.

SIXTH QUESTION: WHAT SUPPLEMENTS SHOULD I TAKE?

These dietary supplements may be used to mitigate or prevent neurological adverse effects:

The most effective supplement for lowering neuropathy risk is vitamin B1 (Thiamine), which should be taken at doses between 50 and 300 mg daily. As an added bonus, vitamin B1 has cancer-fighting abilities.

200-500 milligrams of alpha-lipoic acid daily (do not take with chemo, wait 1 week after; do not take with radiotherapy, wait 2 weeks after)

Taking 500–1500 mg of L-Carnitine daily

Liver-supportive vitamins are also an option.

To complement with SILYMARIN (for example: Carcil)

PHOSPHOLIPIDS (for example: Essentiale forte) (for example: Essentiale forte)

Additional Immunity Boosters:

Start taking 3,000 IU of vitamin D3 everyday and have your 25-hydroxy vitamin D blood level checked once a month. Adjust vitamin D intake until stable blood levels reach the recommended range (40-60 ng/ml; 100-150 nmol/l).

DCA AND CHEMOTHERAPY, NO. 7

Try doing an online search to learn more about the DCA interaction with a certain chemotherapy treatment. In the future, Dcaguide.org will provide more detailed guides on this topic. It’s important to note that this tactic has been successfully used by medical facilities.

Eighth: Direct current acclaim and radiation therapy

Some patients may benefit more from radiation if DCA is administered. If you need more details, look it up online. Additional resources will be made available on dcaguide.org.

EFFECTIVENESS Narrowing down on Specific Cancers 9

Almost all cancer types may benefit from DCA, albeit its efficacy varies. Cancers of the colon, rectal, and gastrointestinal tract, the central nervous system, and the spleen tend to respond well to chemotherapy.

Results are most promising in situations of early, intermediate, and late stage localized cancer.

TEN NUTRITIONAL SUGGESTIONS

In general, you should cut down on sugar and animal fats and increase your intake of fresh fruits and vegetables.
